Mike called in from the Navegante out of Redondo Sportfishing. We left yesterday at noon with a reverse 1.5. We wanted to do the night time tuna thing and the fish cooperated. We ended up with 17 bluefin tuna. 7 were well over 100 pounds and the rest were in the 40-60 pound grade. In the morning hours, we fished the island and got 2 yellowtail, and had decent bass fishing. Jacob checked in for the Pescador out of Redondo Beach. Giving you guys a 1.5-day wrap-up report. We fished extremely hard, had some beautiful weather, and everything in our favor, all the things that are ideal to make the most of it. Fished a couple of different islands and managed to put the fish on the boat. They were pretty tough, we were fishing what was called Razorblade Reef. I think we ended up with 7 very nice yellows, in the 20-30lb range with a couple smaller ones. But we probably went through 20-25 fish to land those. It was a tough one, they showed themselves really well but they knew where to hide. If you're coming out make sure to come prepared to pull on these things! Jacob has the latest fish report and tackle tips for you below.

Mike called in from the Navegante out of Redondo Sportfishing. We left on a full-day trip and had really really fun fishing here. We ended up with 6 or 7 yellowtail -- all big boys. Our biggest was about 26 pounds. We also had good calico bass fishing, and caught a lot of white fish and sheephead for the guys that wanted to fish the bottom. Everyone is going home with fish for this holiday tomorrow. Mike has the current fish report for you below.
