We had limits of quality reds for our 18 passengers real quick, and got other miscellaneous rockfish. We scoped out some kelp line. We tried, but it was tough. Mike checking in for the Navegante out of Redondo Beach. Nice day of fishing for our 14 guys yesterday! We worked hard, weather was up a little bit trying to make it to the island. And it paid off. We ended up with 20 seabass for like 28 hook-ups! There were some casualties. And 5 yellowtail, 2 halibut, and limits of reds there. Fun fishing, they worked really hard at the rail. Mike checking in for the Navegante out of Redondo Beach. We had 19 guys on our full-day trip. We ended up with 7 yellowtail up to 23 pounds. We had our chances and probably hooked 14-15 fish, maybe more to get what we got. We tried the shallows, we tried the deeper areas. Lots of signs of fish kind of splashed around and whatever little current we had we made it count to put some yellowtail on the boat. Then we started doing some whitefishing and all that good stuff. Jacob checked in for the Pescador out of Redondo Beach. We're on a 2-Day trip coming home. We worked extremely hard guys. We did have a pretty good little go around on some yellows. I think we ended up with 8 of them. I think 4 of them were caught by one gentleman. It was a tough deal, but we had fun. We had close to 25 or so lost yellows, and caught 4 halibut--a lot of fish taco meat. I think we had 16 or 17 big lings up to 25 pounds. We also had a bunch of reds (limits) and all kinds of limits of cod. Good fishing. We did have to work hard for our game fish, but we managed to get a little shot at it. I think things are starting to warm up here. Jacob has the latest fish report for you below.

Mike checking in for Steve from Redondo Beach for the Navegante. We're coming in here wrapping up a reverse 1.5-Day with 11 guys. It was a "Game Fish or Bust" trip. We did a lot of scouting and a lot of traveling. We made lots of squid last night. We took it everywhere, but no conditions. We ended up with 1 yellowtail, but we did see good signs. We went 1 for 4 on the yellowtail and 2 for 4 on the halibut. Overall the weather was absolutely beautiful. We're back out tonight on an overnight. Mike has the latest fish report for you below.
